Actalent is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator to support a Pneumococcal Disease trial at a Richmond, TX site. The role focuses on identifying and recruiting eligible participants, educating them about the study, and ensuring engagement and compliance throughout the trial.

You will work with a multidisciplinary research team, review EMRs, perform pre-screening, enroll participants, and maintain accurate trial documentation while adhering to GCP and HIPAA standards.

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience in patient recruitment for clinical research.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Training in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
• Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Responsabilidades

• Review EMR to assess potential participants against inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Pre-screen potential participants per protocol.
• Recruit and enroll participants per study protocols and regulations.
• Educate participants about study procedures, expectations, and follow-up.
• Conduct follow-up communications to support retention and protocol compliance.
• Schedule in-person visits and send reminders to participants.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and study records.
• Collaborate with the research team to coordinate recruitment activities.
• Adhere to GCP, HIPAA, and site policies in participant management and data handling.
