Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator for a fully onsite contract position based in Richmond, VA. The CRC will manage multiple oncology trials from startup to closeout, serving as the primary liaison among patients, physicians, sponsors, and study teams.

Responsibilities include patient recruitment, scheduling visits, data entry, and regulatory compliance, with Epic/EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Clinical Research Coordinator or Study Coordinator experience.
• Experience in patient recruitment, screening, consent, enrollment, and scheduling.
• Proficiency with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Oracle, Inform.
• Regulatory experience including IRB submissions and study documentation.
• Experience with study data, source documentation, and CRFs.
• Experience with monitoring visits, audits, and queries.
• Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations and clinical research compliance.
• Oncology and/or cardiovascular/CNS experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of clinical trials from startup to closeout.
• Recruit, screen, consent, and enroll study participants.
• Schedule protocol-required visits and follow-ups.
• Educate patients and serve as a study resource.
• Enter study data and maintain source documentation.
• Manage regulatory records and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Support sponsor monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
• Coordinate collection, processing, and shipment of specimens.
• Report adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, nurses, and staff on startup and closeout activities.
