Qualifications
- Active Illinois (IDFPR) Pharmacist license required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
- Preference for residency training or equivalent hospital experience.
Responsibilities
- Interpret medication orders to ensure safety and proper use of medications.
- Monitor therapy for drug interactions and therapeutic duplications.
- Document clinical activities and interventions in the EHR.
- Educate patients and healthcare professionals about medications and therapy.
- Develop and present orientation and training for staff and students.
- Respond to emergencies to assist with medication management.
