Job summary

Joyce University invites compassionate nurses to join as Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructors in the Southeast Michigan area. You will mentor students at local clinical sites while continuing your own practice, bringing current nursing experience into teaching.

You will guide hands-on clinical experiences, connect practice to coursework, and provide feedback, coaching, and remediation to help students develop confidence and competence.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan
Master's degree in Nursing
2–3 years of clinical nursing experience

Responsibilities

Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings
Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses
Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence
Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation
Recognize opportunities for additional support and help students develop through coaching and remediation
Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience
Stay current in your nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into your teaching
Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation
