Job summary

Joyce University in Oregon is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our clinical faculty and help nursing students build confidence, clinical judgment, and hands-on skills in real-world settings.

You'll coach students in local clinical sites in Salem, bridging current nursing practice with classroom learning, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback in a collaborative academic community.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Oregon
• Master's degree in Nursing
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings
• Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses
• Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence
• Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation
• Recognize opportunities for additional support and help students develop through coaching and remediation
• Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience
• Stay current in your nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into your teaching
• Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation
