Job summary

Joyce University in Missouri is seeking a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor to bring nursing education to life in real-world clinical settings. You will mentor students, helping them develop confidence, clinical judgment, and skills while continuing your own practice.

You will connect classroom learning to bedside reality, coach students, and provide feedback and evaluation. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to impact the next generation of nurses within Joyce University’s

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license in Missouri
Master's degree in Nursing
2–3 years of clinical nursing experience
Preferred teaching/mentoring/clinical education experience
No formal teaching experience? That’s okay.

Responsibilities

Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings
Connect real-world nursing practice to what students are learning in their courses
Coach and mentor students as they develop clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence
Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation
Recognize opportunities for additional support and help students develop through coaching and remediation
Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to support a consistent, student-centered learning experience
Stay current in your nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into your teaching
Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings and graduation
