Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Maumee, OH is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Faculty (BSN Required) to lead the clinical component of the Nursing Program. The faculty will supervise students, provide guidance and feedback, and ensure program outcomes in accordance with accreditation standards.

The role includes teaching, maintaining office hours, ensuring policy adherence, supporting NCLEX prep, and participating in development activities and campus meetings as designated by the Dean.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred (minimum 3 years in field of study).
• 3 years experience as a registered nurse.
• Active OH RN license that has never been encumbered.
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, peers and community partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must provide professional licenses and certifications for teaching in the state.
• Must adhere to faculty immunization policy and provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses aligned with qualifications and areas of expertise.
• Ensure all instructional activities and contact hours meet policy, accreditation standards and program requirements.
• Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and address questions.
• Demonstrate instructional presence based on modality and school policy.
• Support student learning outcomes through curriculum implementation and assessment.
• Accountable to NCLEX preparation throughout the program.
• Full-time faculty are expected to teach a full workload.
• Participate in quarterly professional development and campus meetings as designated by the Dean.
• Attend graduation ceremonies and community events as designated.
• Other duties as assigned.
