You will provide direct patient care and support education with a focus on safety and quality outcomes. The position requires five years of medical-surgical experience, a nursing license in Illinois, and applicable certifications.

Qualifications

• Education and licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience in medical care.
• Current BLS/ACLS/Neonatal or PALS as applicable to role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and education to staff on medical units.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
• Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires and preceptors.
• Collaborate with unit leadership to assess education needs and outcomes.
• Develop unit-based competency and training programs.
• Facilitate in-services and just-in-time education for staff.
• Support unit safety, quality, and patient experience initiatives.
• Promote lifelong learning and specialty certification preparation.
