Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADP is highest, must graduate with a Bachelor's within five years of start date.
• Certification: CPR (AHA), ACLS within six months, C-EFM within one year, NRP within six months.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Preferred: Labor & Delivery RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assess patients, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate tasks to staff and collaborate with the team to meet unit goals.
• Shift duties may vary by unit or shift and include travel to float to mother-baby as needed.
