Job summary

Avery’s House in Boise, Idaho seeks an experienced Clinical Assistant (BHT) to support adolescents in a structured recovery housing setting. The role involves overnight, 12-hour shifts (6p–6a), supervising residents, transporting clients, and facilitating groups while promoting safety and treatment goals.

Must meet all listed requirements and be able to work nights. Competitive pay starts at $20 per hour; full-time schedule noted, with PRN overnight availability and potential growth

Avery's House is a mental health treatment provider for adolescents. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and responsible Clinical Assistant (BHT). Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial. This position provides daily support to those living in Avery's House structured recovery housing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals.
• Implement/enforce house rules.
• Transport clients with company vehicle.
• Supervise clients on outings.
• Group facilitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility.
• Ensure necessary documentation is complete.
• Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• REQUIRED: Must have a valid Idaho Driver’s License in good standing.
• REQUIRED: Must be minimum 21 years of age.
• REQUIRED: Must pass background check.
• REQUIRED: Must pass drug screening.
• REQUIRED: Must be able to climb up and down stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+lbs
• Enhanced Clearance with Idaho Health & Welfare (preferred- will be required to obtain)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)Current TB test (will be required to obtain)

SCHEDULES

• We are hiring PRN staff for the overnight shifts. We run 12 hour shifts 6p-6a.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

• Weekend availability required

Overnight positions are awake shifts . Staff are required to remain awake and alertthroughout the entire shift to provide continuous supervision.
