Job summary

Avery's House in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking an experienced Clinical Assistant (BHT) to provide daily support for adolescents in a structured recovery housing setting. The role involves supporting those with mental health and substance use issues, facilitating groups, and helping maintain a safe, clean facility.

Requirements include a valid Arizona driver’s license, be at least 21, pass a background check and drug screening, and be able to climb stairs and lift 25+ lbs.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License in good standing.
• REQUIRED: Must be minimum 21 years of age.
• REQUIRED: Must pass background check.
• REQUIRED: Must pass drug screening.
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide support for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals.
• Implement/enforce house rules.
• Transport clients with company vehicle.
• Supervise clients on outings.
• Group facilitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility.
• Ensure necessary documentation is complete.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Job description

Avery's House is a mental health treatment provider for adolescents. We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and responsible Clinical Assistant (BHT). Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial. This position provides daily support to those living in Avery's House structured recovery housing.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Provide support for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues.

• DPS fingerprint clearance card (preferred- will be required to obtain)
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred- will be required to obtain)
• Current TB test (will be required to obtain)

SCHEDULES

• We are hiring PRN staff for both dayshift and overnight.
• We run 12 hour shifts 6a-6p or 6p-6a and 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Education

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience

• Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred)
