Job summary

Avery's House, a mental health treatment provider for adolescents, seeks an experienced Clinical Assistant (BHT) to support residents in structured recovery housing in Mesa, AZ. The role includes transporting clients, supervising outings, and facilitating groups, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Applicants should have a valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 or older, pass background and drug screening, and obtain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, TB test, DPS clearance preferred).

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License in good standing.
• Must be minimum 21 years of age.
• Must pass background check.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must be able to climb stairs, hills, bend and lift 25+ lbs.
• DPS fingerprint clearance card preferred (will be required to obtain).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (will be required to obtain).
• Current TB test (will be required to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for adolescents with mental health and substance abuse issues.
• Establish open lines of communication for individuals.
• Implement/enforce house rules.
• Transport clients with company vehicle.
• Supervise clients on outings.
• Group facilitation.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility.
• Ensure necessary documentation is complete.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Experience working with adolescents is preferred, and any additional experience with mental health and substance abuse is beneficial. This position provides daily support to those living in Avery's House structured recovery housing.

SCHEDULES

• We are hiring staff for the Full-Time Overnight Position – Weekend Availability Required
• Shifts 6PM-6AM
• Thursday, Saturday, Sunday

Please Note:

Overnight positions are awake shifts. Staff are required to remain awake and alert throughout the entire shift to provide continuous supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
