Job summary

TD is seeking a Client Service Teller in Saint James, NY to be the hospitality ambassador, guiding client flow and delivering a high-touch experience. You will handle everyday banking transactions accurately while building relationships and identifying opportunities to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.

Role requires basic banking product knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients or in related roles.
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client-facing/financial institution is preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact for clients as they serve as the hospitality ambassador of the bank location.
• Delivers accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions while deepening relationships by proactively identifying needs and opportunities.
• Educates clients on banking products and self-serve solutions and recommends suitable options.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic banking products to evaluate and recommend client solutions.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions and multi-step activities within established financial limits.
• Identifies and addresses routine client problems and escalates non-standard issues internally.
