Qualifications

• Graduate of AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and licensed in good standing.
• 1 year of experience in veterinary setting preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories and assist with sick-patient appointments.
• Triage patients and assess immediate needs.
• Perform blood draws and place IV catheters.
• Run and interpret in-house diagnostics.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgeries.
• Calculate medications and surgical drugs.
• Assist with digital radiology and dental procedures.
