Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinary Technician to support our emergency and specialty team. You’ll handle hands-on patient care, client education, and triage for non-critical urgent cases alongside veterinarians and ER staff.

Qualifications

• Two years of general practice experience preferred.
• Strong interest in urgent care and emergency medicine.
• Comfort working swing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.
• Desire to obtain technician licensure or pursue VTS

Responsibilities

• Bandage changes and wound care for urgent cases.
• Perform ear cytologies and manage urinary tract infections.
• Conduct lameness exams and assess GI upset.
• Address skin and ear concerns and provide triage support.
• Educate clients and support discharge planning.
