Job summary

Mission Pet Health is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant for the Veterinary Urgent Care Center (VUCC) in Braintree, MA. You’ll work with a fast-paced team delivering essential care to sick and injured small animals, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

High school diploma required or equivalent.
Ability to handle pets calmly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

Safely restrain patients for exams and procedures.
Clean and maintain treatment areas and surgical suites.
Turn over and clean surgical suites; assist Veterinary Technicians with daily patient care.
Run in-house bloodwork and other diagnostics.
Set up rooms and procedures; prepare equipment and supplies.
Answer phones and respond to emails; support patient care and recovery.
