Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caring, reliable caregiver to support an elderly male with intellectual and developmental disabilities in his home. This role involves helping with ADLs, personal hygiene, meal prep, and transportation to community outings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience or equivalent training.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to complete Local and Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

The individual is an elderly male in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene tasks, and community outings.
