Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support an adult male with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home on Thursdays and Fridays, with community outings on Saturdays. This position is offered on an independent contractor basis and pays $17.00 per hour.

You will help with ADLs, personal hygiene, meal preparation and light housekeeping, ensure safety, and accompany him to social events.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities, including ADLs.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

This adult male individual is in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene tasks, and community outings.

This position will be working in the home Thursdays and Fridays, and taking him out into the community for a few hours on Saturdays (flexible on the time)

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $17.00 hourly.

Schedule: Thursday and Friday 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturdays- flexible hours to go out into the community.
