Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC. is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support an adult male with I/DD in Sarasota. The role is contract-based and pays $17 per hour, with responsibilities including ADL support, personal hygiene, and community outings.

Schedule: Thursday and Friday 10:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Saturdays with flexible hours. Must have a valid driver’s license and pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening. Training and support provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.

Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.

This adult male individual is in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene tasks, and community outings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $17.00 hourly.

Schedule

Thursday and Friday 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturdays- flexible hours to go out into the community.
