Job summary

Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications to fill the part-time role of Custodian 2 on the Clarkston Campus. This position supports the Clarkston Campus and the College’s efforts in providing a clean and safe learning environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

The role includes custodial duties, grounds/Facilities tasks, and event setup/teardown, with a flexible schedule Monday–Friday between 7am–9pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of the college.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing, pick up and dispose of trash, scrubbing, mopping, cleaning and disinfecting.
• Set up and tear down for events on campus.
• Grounds cleanup including mowing, weed pulling, leaf pickup, snow removal, light sprinkler repair.
• Work schedule Monday–Friday between 7am–9pm; work outside hours if needed due to weather, including weekends; some local travel.
• Interacts with students, coworkers, and community members.

Skills

Physically able to lift 50 pounds
