Job summary

Lake Forest Academy is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Attendant in Lake Forest, IL. The role covers evenings (3:00-8:00 PM) with occasional weekends and a pay range of $16.00 to $18.00 hourly.

The successful candidate will help maintain cleanliness, safety and aesthetics across dorms, classrooms and common areas. Responsibilities include cleaning offices, rooms, and facilities, using cleaning chemicals safely, and supporting minor maintenance.

• Willing to perform manual tasks for long periods, including standing and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Cleans offices, dorms, classrooms, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums and polishes floors and stairs.
• Cleans light fixtures, walls, windows and furniture.
• Uses cleaning chemicals per safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Empties trash and disposables; may shampoo carpets or buff floors.
• May move furniture, set up tables and chairs, and drive a golf cart or vehicle.
