Aramark is hiring a Custodial Services Worker at Lake Forest College to keep academic and residential spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, safety compliance, and equipment care with a focus on customer service for students, faculty, and staff.

The role is year-round, full-time with multiple early shift options (from 4:30 a.m. or 5:00 a.m. or 5:30 a.m. to 1–2:30 p.m.). Compensation ranges from $15.50 per hour, with comprehensive benefits varying by location.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Follow basic safety procedures around hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain friendly, efficient guest service demeanor towards guests and staff.
• Be adaptable to guests' needs.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA guidance.
• Maintains a clean environment to project safety and health.
• Cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
