Job summary

Aramark is seeking a motivated Custodial Services worker to help keep our locations clean and safe, enabling customers to stay healthy. This role at Lake Forest College involves early shifts and year‑round cleaning in an academic environment.

You will join a team focused on safety, quality, and reliability in daily operations. Openings are full-time with varied start times from about 4:30am to 1pm, including alternative 5am–1:30pm and 6am–2:30pm options.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow safety procedures related to chemicals.
• Maintains friendly, efficient guest service demeanor toward guests, clients and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA and Aramark regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect safety and health.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
