Part-time Cafeteria Worker within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Position is based in our Community Based program supporting the County Cup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances required prior to hire
• PA school personnel health form required prior to hire
• Must be able to lift between 20 to 35 lbs. consistently on a daily basis and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Valid driver's license preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation and serving of quantity and quality food and observe all methods of portion control in both preparation and serving, then record on production sheet.
• Participate with reheating foods in microwaves and other devices.
• Follow HACCP (Food Safety Plan) procedures, maintain sanitary conditions and complete necessary recording of all temperatures, etc.
• Operate a point of sale (P.O.S.) computerized screen, count money, complete deposit slips and associated paperwork as needed.
• Responsible for limited food purchasing. Follow proper procedures for receiving and storing all food and supplies.

2025-2026 Rates

• $14.77 - $15.82 per hour based on experience in a similar position
