Summary

The student workers support our early childhood classrooms by assisting with basic skills instruction under teacher direction. They provide one-on-one and small group support, help with toileting and basic care, and engage in active physical duties, including assisting and repositioning young children (infants to age five).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills as directed by the classroom teacher
• Performing duties as directed by the teacher
• Duties may include 1:1 instruction and small group instruction
• Toileting and other basic care
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. May include positioning of students with physical disabilities. The weight and ability of students requiring assistance may vary greatly; all students are infants to 5 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be Current High School Student with Valid Work Permit

Schedule

• Weekdays: Monday-Friday
• Flexible Hours: May include 7 AM-9 AM, 3 PM-5:30 PM
