Job summary

CCIU’s County Cup program seeks a part-time cafeteria worker to support food service during business hours across county locations. Based in our community-based program, you'll help prepare and serve meals, observe portion controls, and maintain sanitation.

The role is non-exempt, hourly, up to 18 hours per week year-round, with duties including operating a POS, handling deposits, receiving and storing supplies, and following HACCP procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Required)
• Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances (Required prior to hire)
• PA school personnel health form (Required prior to hire)
• Must be able to lift 20–35 lbs consistently on a daily basis and up to 40 lbs occasionally
• Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in preparation and serving of quantity and quality food, observe portion control methods, and record on production sheet
• Assist with reheating foods in microwaves and other devices
• Follow HACCP (Food Safety Plan) procedures, maintain sanitary conditions, and record all temperatures
• Operate a point‑of‑sale (P.O.S.) computerized screen, count money, and complete deposit slips and associated paperwork
• Handle limited food purchasing and follow proper procedures for receiving and storing all food and supplies
• Lift 20–35 lbs consistently daily and up to 40 lbs occasionally
