Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a part-time Nutrition Staff member to join our cafeteria team. The role runs Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m., supporting daily food service operations and ensuring quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with the team to serve meals efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or cafeteria settings is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
• Ensure all food is presented appealingly and served at the appropriate temperature.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafeteria and dining areas.
• Assist with inventory management and receiving/storing supplies.
• Follow health and safety regulations including proper food handling and sanitation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cafeteria operations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by cafeteria supervisor.
