Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a reliable Cashier/Server to assist during the lunch period. You will take student meals, operate the cash register, record meals, and help keep the dining area clean and welcoming.

This part-time role requires punctuality, good customer service, and the ability to work well with students and dietary staff under the direction of the Executive Chef and Food Service Director.

Responsibilities

• Serve students compliant meals and record their meal at the end of service
• Run cash register, accurately count cash and prepare deposits as needed
• Stock and maintain serving area
• Support lunchroom behaviors and expectations while students are in line
• Clean all food service equipment and accessories including assisting with wiping lunchroom tables
• Punctual, regular, & consistent attendance is required
• Support department at the direction of the Executive Chef, Food Service Director, and Cook Manager
• All other duties as assigned.
