Lyndon Institute in Lyndon Center, Vermont is seeking an adjunct instructor to deliver hands-on CAD education within the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering program. You will mentor students, integrate real-world industry practices, and help students connect classroom learning to manufacturing environments.

The role runs Monday–Friday with two sections per day; pay is $3,250 per class per semester (two classes totaling $6,500 per semester).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, robotics, or a related field preferred.
• Teaching license preferred but not required.
• Practical experience in engineering or CAD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach CAD/CAM concepts (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) based on expertise.
• Design and facilitate project-based learning experiences.
• Incorporate Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement into instruction.
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
