Job summary

Computer Systems Institute in Chicago, IL seeks an Adjunct Instructor for the Business Fundamentals program. You will teach a set of courses, develop lesson plans, and deliver engaging lectures with Project-Based Learning in a dynamic classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration or related field OR two years of related work experience.
• Microsoft Office Specialist certifications are preferred to teach specific courses but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 27.5 hours per week.
• Prepare lesson plans for each class session.
• Deliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) on business topics.
• Assist students in the learning process.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress using various assessments.
• Keep records to report SAP to the Academic Dean/Program Manager.
• Attend quarterly campus-wide instructor in-service meetings.
• Stay informed with teaching advancements through PD activities.
• Organize and lead field outings for student enrichment once per module.
• Contribute to program improvement through committee involvement.
• Provide academic advising to ensure student growth and retention.
• Additional tasks as needed.

Education
