Job summary

Computer-Systems-Institute in Chicago, IL seeks a Part-time Adjunct Instructor for the Hospitality Leadership concentration. You will teach scheduled courses, develop lesson plans, and deliver engaging lectures with project-based learning to support student growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field, with possible consideration for two years of related experience or specialized training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality or related field.
• If degree is not hospitality-related, at least two years of related work experience or specialized training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Hospitality Leadership concentration.
• Plan and deliver in-class instruction with approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans and deliver lectures with project-based learning (PBL).
• Evaluate student progress using various assessment tools.
• Maintain records for SAP reporting to the Academic Dean/Program Manager.
• Participate in campus-wide instructor meetings and professional development.
• Lead field outings and contribute to program improvement.
• Provide academic advising for student growth and retention.
