NASA Federal Credit Union is seeking a Part-time Branch Member Service Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and promote NASA FCU products and services. The role involves travel to other locations as needed and requires reliable transportation.

The position emphasizes cash handling experience and offers a generous part-time benefits package. Typical hours include four weekdays with Saturday morning shifts, and the union provides healthcare, 401(k), paid leave, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service experience with cash handling.
• Cash handling experience required.

Responsabilités

• Empathizes with members and provides solutions to make it easy for members to acquire and effectively use NASA FCU products and services.
• Identifies member needs to provide solutions on products that meet the member's needs and facilitate the member's financial security.
• Responds to member inquiries regarding account operations, rates, discrepancies, and loans.
• Processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, checks, shares, ACH/payroll/direct deposit, and stop payments.
• Handles complex member situations such as deceased members, guardianships, and representative payee accounts.
• Handles consumer loan applications, document collection, and disbursements.
• Advises members regarding available insurance protection (life, disability, etc.).
• MSAs may be temporarily assigned to other branches or Call Center to meet needs.
• MSAs may be assigned duties to support other areas in the Credit Union.
• MSAs are expected to support Call Center queues (phone and email).
