The Box Office Representative’s primary duty is selling tickets for events at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. This involves heavy customer interaction and handling cash transactions. Selected candidates must be comfortable, proficient and trustworthy with counting cash and giving change back to customers. This position also hands out pre-purchased (will call) tickets to patrons. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks is a must.
This position requires weeknight and weekend shift work.

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalency; 1 to 3 years' experience in customer service, call center, face-to-face customer service, or related field
OR
Any equivalent combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted
Light: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Light work may include walking or standing to a significant degree and/or sitting a majority of the time while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls.
Employees will frequently work in an office or similar indoor environment.
Employees will occasionally be exposed to individuals who are hostile or irate.
