Job summary

The Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a part-time Box Office Representative to greet guests, process ticket purchases, and manage will-call and guest-list tickets. This role requires accuracy in cash handling and a friendly, professional demeanor in a fast-paced venue environment.

Responsibilities include selling tickets, assisting patrons with seating, answering questions about events and policies, and reconciling the box office before and after performances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 1–3 years in customer service or related field.
• Equivalent combination of training/experience may be substituted for education.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist patrons with ticket purchases and seating selections.
• Provide information about events, schedules, pricing, seating and venue policies.
• Distribute will-call and guest-list tickets.
• Prepare box office before events and reconcile afterwards.
• Follow policies regarding ticketing, cash handling, confidentiality and customer service.
