Job summary

Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is seeking a part-time Box Office Assistant at Bradley Symphony Center in Milwaukee, WI. This role supports ticket sales for Classics, Pops, and special presentations, with friendly customer service and flexible scheduling during the concert season.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong phone etiquette, computer literacy (Word/Excel), and familiarity with Tessitura.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; good customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
• Excellent verbal communication and phone etiquette.
• Experience with Tessitura is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls (purchases, exchanges, information)
• Attend to patron in-person transactions
• Respond to voicemail as needed
• Print, package and mail tickets
• Handle cash and reconcile daily sales
• Maintain knowledge of MSO performances and events
• Assist other Box Office staff as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
