Qualifikationen

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• One or more years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in an outpatient healthcare setting.
• Experience with computers and/or automated scheduling; prior experience handling and balancing cash is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is essential.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors and collect required information for registration; input and verify demographic/insurance data.
• Pre-register new patients and assemble packets prior to appointments.
• Schedule visits with appropriate ICD-10 codes and manage appointment changes and wait lists.
• Answer calls, route messages, and handle routine scheduling and prescription refill requests.
• Collect copays and payments, balance cash drawer, and ensure accurate billing information routing.
