Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in the Westfield, NJ region to implement the Individual Support Plan across diverse settings including schools, clinics, homes and community-based environments. You’ll work 1:1 with clients, collect data, and collaborate with the treatment team under supervision.

Requires 2 years with children and ABA knowledge; after training, permanent placements are assigned; benefits include health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years working with children.
• Comfortable across a variety of settings without direct supervisor.
• Demonstrate competence with ABA principles and interventions.
• Able to create program materials and maintain documentation.
• Active in using technology for daily documentation.
• Willing to receive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings within the designation region.
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills.
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to minimize maladaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive outcomes.
• Complete administrative tasks when billable hours are not available.
