Job summary

First Children Services in Roselle, NJ is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician to provide direct behavioral support under supervision. You will implement individualized treatment plans and help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills in diverse settings.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience with children, with preferred familiarity in ABA principles. Training is provided, and a supportive team environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and interventions.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to use technology for daily documentation and related responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group support to clients within the assigned service area.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and clinical programming.
• Collect accurate session data and complete required documentation within established timelines.
• Support development of communication, social, behavioral, and adaptive skills.
• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions as directed by the supervising clinician.
• Work collaboratively with families, supervisors, and other members of the treatment team.
• Promote positive behavioral outcomes and consistent implementation of treatment goals.
• Complete assigned administrative and program-support activities when direct service hours are not available.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive environment for clients and families.
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and applicable standards.
