Job summary

Achievement Behavior Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to work in-home with children who have ASD, under the supervision of BCBA professionals. The role focuses on implementing ABA-based strategies to improve communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors in a home setting.

You will collaborate with BCBA leaders, document progress, and contribute to individualized plans while pursuing further credentials such as the RBT. The position offers a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Relevant areas include Applied Behavior Analysis, psychology, special education, occupational therapy or related fields.
• Preferred: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills are required.
• Adaptability and decisiveness under high-stress situations.
• Experience with pre-school and elementary school-aged children is expected.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with students and families to understand communication needs.
• Document skill acquisition and track progress per the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA-based instruction under BCBA supervision.
• Maintain thorough, session-to-session documentation and data entry.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisors and other team members for feedback and direction.
• Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and colleagues.
