Job summary

Community Autism Services (CAS) is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in home and community settings, under BCBA supervision, in Chicopee, MA. The position offers flexible weekday hours designed to fit around school and family commitments.

We provide paid onboarding, ongoing supervision, and opportunities to advance with RBT certification where applicable. Prior ABA experience is not required as CAS trains new clinicians.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 and eligible to work in the US.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to engage children in play and therapeutic activities.
  • Valid transportation and willingness to travel within service region.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision.
  • Implement treatment plans in home and community settings.

We practice within an assent-based, child-centered ABA model and provide the training, mentorship, and clinical oversight needed to succeed-without requiring a fixed or full-time schedule.

Role Overview

As a Part-Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural environments under BCBA supervision. You'll support skill development and behavior goals while working a schedule that fits your lifestyle.

This role is ideal for individuals balancing school, caregiving responsibilities, or other professional commitments.

Pay Range
  • Hourly Rate:$20.00 - $26.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Additional factors that may increase starting pay include:
  • Prior experience in ABA or behavioral health
  • Higher education or relevant coursework
  • Fluency in additional languages
  • Advanced certifications or specialized training
Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
  • Minimum age of 18
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
  • Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
  • Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
  • Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
  • No prior ABA experience required - we train you
