Job summary
Community Autism Services (CAS) in Orange, CA is hiring Part-Time Home & Community Behavior Technician (BT/RBT). You’ll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in homes, schools, and community settings under BCBA supervision, with a clear path to full-time hours as cases grow.
We train you from day one, provide paid onboarding, supervision by BCBAs, and opportunities for RBT certification, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing professional development to support your growth and confidence.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned service region.
- Valid driver’s license and punctual attendance.
- No prior ABA experience required—we train you.
Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development and positive behavior change-while gradually building experience and hours toward a full-time schedule if desired.

- Hourly Rate:$ (based on education and experience)
- Prior ABA or behavioral health experience
- Higher education or relevant coursework
- Fluency in additional languages
- Advanced certifications or specialized training

- Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs
- Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
- Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, including aggression or elopement
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
- Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
- Comfort working across home, school, and community settings
- No prior ABA experience required - we train you
- Childcare or education (nanny, tutor, paraprofessional)
- College students in psychology, education, social work, or related fields
- Mental health or human services roles
- Camp counselor, volunteer, or youth program experience
