Job summary

Loverboy is seeking a seasoned Bartender to craft traditional and innovative cocktails and provide an exceptional guest experience at our San Antonio location. You will greet guests, prepare drinks per recipes, handle POS transactions, and maintain a clean, compliant bar area.

The role requires 2+ years in a high-volume setting, strong customer service, punctuality, and a professional appearance. Regular part-time schedule with opportunities to grow in a vibrant hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• POS (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills.
• Punctual and reliable attendance is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a TABC and Food Handlers certification before employment begins.
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Must be well-groomed and professionally dressed following uniform standards.
• Must have attention for detail, and a passion for serving Guests.
• Positive and professional attitude in every aspect of the position.
• Physical requirements: stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, bend/reach/repeat motions.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Prepare and present drinks according to standard recipes.
• Operate the POS system and process transactions.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Check identifications to prevent underage drinking.
• Maintain an attractive, functional bar setup and promote beverages.
• Take and serve food orders for bar guests.
• Collaborate with staff to foster positive relationships.
