Job summary

Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa, Astoria, OR, is seeking a guest-focused Bartender for Bar 600. This part-time position offers 3–4 shifts per week with evenings and weekends required, compensation of $17/hour plus an 80% tip share, and a dynamic, hospitality-driven team environment.

Ideal candidates bring bartending experience, strong spirits knowledge, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences in a boutique hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender experience preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and cocktails.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, punctual and team-minded.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast, friendly bar service to guests.
• Prepare and serve cocktails and beverages to spec.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar environment.
• Engage with guests to ensure a memorable experience.
• Follow health, safety and liquor compliance standards.
• Complete opening, running and closing side work.
• Accurately handle transactions and cash drawer.
