Job summary

Hyatt Place Pena Station DIA in Denver is seeking a Part-time Barback to support bartenders by restocking, garnishes, and keeping the bar tidy. This role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on fast-paced service.

You will help set up and break down the bar, monitor supplies, and respond quickly to bartender requests. Prior bar/restaurant experience is preferred, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous bar/restaurant experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multitasking.
• Basic knowledge of bar operations and beverage preparation.

Responsibilities

• Restock all bar supplies, including liquor, mixers and glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and wash tools.
• Prepare garnishes and keep them ready for bartenders.
• Keep ice bins stocked and assist during peak hours.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar for service.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages to Bar Manager.
