Job summary

Stonebridge Companies seeks a Banquet Server at Hyatt Place Pena Station DIA in Denver to deliver courteous food and beverage service during banquet events, ensuring a high-quality guest experience. This role includes light kitchen prep, setting up and tearing down banquet spaces, and coordinating with the Banquet Manager to meet guest needs.

Prior banquet or restaurant experience is preferred; strong customer service, ability to multitask, and basic math for handling payments are valued;

Qualifications

• Previous banquet or restaurant service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating costs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure prompt service
• Food preparation in the kitchen - Light cooking
• Set up and tear down tables and chairs for banquets
• Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services promptly.
• Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and anticipate when they have completed their meals.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Complete all assigned side work tasks during shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
• Assist with setting up, cleaning, and refreshing banquet function rooms.
• Attend department meetings and complete tasks assigned by the Banquet Manager.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including reading and understanding MSDS.
