Job summary

The Westin Memphis Beale Street Hotel is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Server in Memphis, TN. You will serve food and beverages, set up banquet tables, and maintain service standards in line with brand guidelines.

This on-call role requires flexibility for various shifts; prior banquet server experience is preferred, and you must be 21+ with a valid Tennessee alcohol license. Hourly pay is $15.00, with bi-weekly payroll and benefits listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Must have an active Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission License.
• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent Vocational Training certificate.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Restaurant or Banquet Food Server.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests according to brand standards.
• Set up banquet tables with linens, silverware and china as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and guest relations; respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
