The Westin Memphis Beale Street Hotel in Memphis, TN is hiring a Part-Time Line Cook at $17 per hour. This role supports a fast-paced hotel kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients and top-quality menu items while maintaining sanitation and teamwork. Requires a High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of hotel/restaurant kitchen experience, plus food certifications.

Varied days with morning and evening shifts; benefits include PTO, 401K, and employee discounts. No remote work.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.
• Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner.
• Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers.
• Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.
• Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
• Positive outlook and outgoing personality.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver items weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.
• Must be willing to follow directions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
