Job summary

Hilton Richmond Downtown is seeking a courteous Banquet Server to help deliver flawless service at our downtown hotel. You will set tables, serve meals, and support banquet events for business and leisure guests, ensuring cleanliness and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong guest service skills, clear English communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced event environment. A high school diploma and flexible schedule, including weekends, are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent guest service and professional demeanor.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English clearly.
• Knowledge of food & beverage preparations and service etiquette.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and tables for breakfast, lunch or dinner and ensure proper setup.
• Serve banquet meals to guests and monitor food and beverage flow to events.
• Assist Banquet Captain, F&B Manager or Executive Chef with event preparations.
• Supervise and assist in cleaning and resetting banquet rooms and service areas.
• Ensure meeting rooms are clean and maintained and coordinate with kitchen staff.
