Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Server for the beautiful Interlocken Resort & Spa! If you love hospitality, creating amazing customer experiences, and the structure and benefits that come from working with a hotel company then you will love working with Omni!

Omni Interlocken Resort & Spa is seeking a Server with afternoon/evening availability to join our outstanding banquets team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Banquets and Banquet Leaders to successfully execute all operations relating to the Banquets department, resulting in high levels of guest satisfaction. This highly motivated individual will ensure that all food and beverage service for functions in the banquet department of the hotel are served on time and that all of Omni's professional standards are upheld.

Salary range for this position (based on experience): $22.00/hour. Part Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Banquet side work as designated by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Managers.
• Efficiently and properly perform all service standards.
• Attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties.
• Report to the Banquet Manager any need for housekeeping and/or repairs of and banquet equipment.
• Assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Must attend all designated pre-meal meetings.
• Must follow all details as described on Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s).
• Must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and have excellent customer service experience.
• Must be able to provide a high level of customer service to our guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for the duration of a full-shift.
• Must have Food Handlers Certification prior to hire and obtain an on-site alcohol certification once hired.
• Previous banquet or high volume serving experience required.
• Previous serving experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel or resort preferred but not required.
• Requires weekend and evening availability.
• Must be 18 years or older.
