Job summary

Fair-Oaks-Farms seeks a Part-Time, non-exempt Banquet Prep Cook to support large events at our Fair Oaks, IN site. You will prepare meats and vegetables, follow recipe books and banquet orders, and ensure quality and timely execution while complying with sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, storing ingredients, and communicating with kitchen staff to maintain service flow. Must meet basic physical requirements and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must have clear and effective communication.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent personal hygiene and grooming per policy.
• Reading and math skills for recipes and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service at all times.
• Assist guests and team members as needed.
• Answer general questions about the property.
• Prepare, cut, slice and grind meat, poultry and seafood for cooking.
• Maintain sanitary and safe work areas and proper temperatures.
• Communicate with cooks and chefs during service.
• Adhere to health department regulations and recipe standards.
